About Mrs. Angela Conrad:
I grew up in Savannah, Georgia where I always had the love and support from great parents and an older sister. After graduating from Saint Vincent's Academy, I went off to college at Georgia Southern University where I graduated with a Technology/Engineering Education Bachelors Degree. Shortly after, I moved to Atlanta, Georgia and began teaching Technology/Engineering at Creekland Middle School. During this time, I also obtained a Masters Degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment from Walden University. After meeting a wonderful man, I moved to Statesboro, Georgia and taught Technology/Engineering at Langston Chapel Middle School. Shortly after marriage, we moved to a lovely 70 acre farm in Blountville, Tennessee and I drove a long distance to teach Technology/Engineering at Lebanon High School. After three years and many miles driven to work, I began working at Dobyns-Bennett High School! I began the PLTW Engineering High School Program during the 2011-2012 school year. I have been teaching for ten years and have loved every minute of it! In July of 2013, I gave birth to our son Hunter Anthony Conrad; then, in July of 2015, I gave birth to twins: Gunner Paul Conrad and Gage Ronald Conrad! I am a proud mom of three amazing boys! Other than working, I love spending time with family, gardening, riding horses, fishing, hunting, decorating, cooking, vacationing, and enjoying life! I look forward to many more years at Dobyns-Bennett High School, as I strive to make the PLTW Engineering Program the best in Tennessee!
